yucod

A website that search engines and customers understand in every language

We build language versions with clean URLs, correct hreflang and market-aware translation, not word-for-word copies.

Quote and schedule after your brief

Who it's for

  • Companies expanding into several EU, UK or US markets
  • Businesses with a single-language site that need a second or third language
  • Online stores shipping to multiple countries
  • Service firms with international clients who need support in their own language

Problems we solve

Google shows the wrong language to the wrong visitors

We set up hreflang (tags that tell search engines which language version to show to whom) and check them in Search Console, including after launch.

Machine translation reads awkwardly and hurts trust

AI produces the first draft, then a native-speaking editor reviews key pages: home, services, pricing, checkout. We agree on your terminology first.

Adding a language means rebuilding the site

We build the language structure in from the start: /en/, /de/ folders or subdomains, a language switcher, translated menus and forms. A new language later is an addition, not a rebuild.

Leads from different languages get lost

Forms connect to one CRM with a language tag, so your team sees at once which language to reply in.

What's included

  • Audit of the current site and choice of structure: subfolders, subdomains or separate domains
  • Language versions with their own URLs
  • Hreflang and canonical tags (marking the main version of each page)
  • Two-step translation: AI draft, then editor review
  • Translated metadata: titles, descriptions, image alt text
  • Language switcher that remembers the choice and does not force redirects
  • Local formats: dates, phone numbers, currency, addresses
  • Per-language sitemaps and Search Console submission
  • Forms connected to a CRM with a language tag
  • Post-launch check for indexing errors and broken links

How we work

01

Brief and requirements

You describe the task and current workflow. We clarify requirements, choose a first stage and prepare a quote.

02

Audit and structure

We review the current site, choose languages and URL scheme, and agree it with you before work starts.

03

Translation and build

AI drafts, an editor reviews. Developers build the language versions in parallel.

04

Testing and launch

We check hreflang, forms, the switcher and speed, then submit sitemaps to Google.

05

Pilot with a KPI

We agree one measurable goal, for example leads from the new language. We review the numbers together and decide next steps.

Scope and limits

  • We do not promise top Google rankings: they depend on competition and time
  • We do not do legal translation of contracts or certificates, which needs a certified translator
  • We do not guarantee that unedited machine translation will work for your industry

FAQ

Subfolders or subdomains?

For most companies subfolders (site.com/en/) are simpler and share authority with one domain. Subdomains or country domains (.de,.fr) make sense when you need a local presence or separate hosting. We recommend one after the audit.

Who writes the translation, AI or a person?

Both. AI gives a fast, low-cost draft and a human editor reviews it. For critical copy you can order full native-speaker writing as a separate item.

What does adding another language cost later?

We prepare a quote after reviewing your brief and requirements. A first stage can cover: up to 10 pages; URL structure and hreflang. Scope, payment and schedule are agreed before work starts.

What do you need from me?

Access to the site, hosting and domain, current copy, a glossary of terms and brand names that stay untranslated, and your target countries. All accounts stay yours.

Can you work with WordPress, Webflow or Shopify?

Yes, with all three, using their native language features or plugins. Some site builders limit hreflang or URL control, and in that case we will tell you honestly if migrating is the better choice.

How does payment work?

Payment terms are agreed with the quote before work starts. For a staged project, we describe the result and acceptance criteria for each stage. Support and third-party services are listed separately.
