Wikipedia and Wikidata for your brand, with paid editing disclosed

We first check whether your company or person meets notability rules. If it does, we prepare a draft article and a Wikidata item built on independent sources. Wikipedia restricts paid editing, so everything is done openly.

Quote and schedule after your brief

Who it's for

  • Companies with coverage in independent media that want an article
  • Founders, experts and public figures covered by third-party sources
  • Brands that need a Wikidata item for accurate entity data in search
  • Businesses whose existing article contains errors or outdated facts

Problems we solve

I want a Wikipedia article, but I don't know if it would be accepted

We run a notability audit before any writing. We look for independent sources and compare them with the guidelines. If the chance is low, we say so and suggest how to build coverage first.

I've heard paid articles get deleted and accounts blocked

That happens when payment is hidden. We disclose paid editing on the user page, write neutrally, and submit drafts for review instead of publishing around the process.

Our current Wikipedia article has errors and no sources

We file edit requests on the article's talk page with reliable sources attached. We don't rewrite the article ourselves. Volunteer editors make the final call.

We have no Wikidata entry, so search engines don't know who we are

We create a Wikidata item with statements (name, website, founding date, country, identifiers) and references. Search engines and other services reuse this structured data.

What's included

  • Notability audit against Wikipedia and Wikidata criteria
  • Source research: independent media, books, trade publications
  • Draft article in a neutral encyclopedic tone with citations

  • Wikidata item creation: labels, descriptions, statements, references

How we work

01

Brief and audit

We collect facts about your brand or person and look for independent sources. You get a clear verdict: grounds exist or they don't.

02

Source selection

We list the publications the text will rest on. Press releases and your own site are not used as the basis.

03

Disclosure and draft

We set up a user page disclosing the payment and write a neutral draft with no promotional language.

04

Submission and reviewer dialogue

We submit the draft and respond to reviewer comments. Review can take weeks, and we can't speed it up.

05

Handover

You receive the materials, the source list and a guide to monitoring changes. Everything created on your behalf stays accessible to you.

Scope and limits

  • We don't guarantee acceptance. Volunteer editors decide, and the audit may end with a no.
  • We don't promise the article will stay unchanged. Anyone can edit it, including adding criticism from reliable sources.
  • We don't work covertly: no fake accounts, no rule evasion, no paid removal of negative information.

FAQ

Is paid editing allowed on Wikipedia?

Yes, but only with disclosure. The Wikimedia Terms of Use require you to state who pays and for what. We always disclose. Without it, accounts get blocked and text gets deleted.

What is notability and why does it decide everything?

It means independent, reliable sources have covered the subject in depth. Your own site, press releases and advertorials don't count. Without such sources, an article will most likely be deleted.

How is Wikidata different from Wikipedia?

Wikipedia holds articles. Wikidata holds structured data: name, founding date, website, identifiers. Criteria are looser, but sources are still needed. An item does not replace an article.

Will this improve my search rankings?

We don't promise a direct effect. Search engines use Wikipedia and Wikidata as one source of entity information, but the impact varies. The main benefit is trust and accurate data.

What do you need from me?

Links to independent coverage of you, factual details, and approval of the text. You also need to accept that we add nothing the sources don't support.

Can you fix errors in an existing article?

Yes, through edit requests on the talk page with sources attached. Editors decide whether to apply them. Sometimes they decline, and we will tell you plainly.
