Subscription commerce: turn one-time buyers into recurring revenue

We add recurring orders to your store: automatic billing, a customer portal, pause and skip, and recovery of failed payments. The store takes the order, ads bring new buyers, and automation handles reminders, retries and CRM updates.

Quote and schedule after your brief

Who it's for

  • Stores selling consumables: coffee, tea, skincare, supplements, pet food
  • Brands that want curated boxes or monthly kits
  • Manufacturers of refills and replacements: filters, razor blades, capsules
  • Shops with loyal repeat buyers who still reorder by hand every time

Problems we solve

Customers buy once and disappear. Every second order costs another ad click.

We add a subscription option with scheduled billing. The customer picks a frequency once, and the product ships until they cancel.

I'm afraid people will get stuck in a subscription and file chargebacks.

We build a portal where customers pause, skip, swap products, change address or card, and cancel on their own. Clear rules mean fewer disputes.

Cards fail and subscribers quietly vanish.

We configure smart retries and reminder emails with a payment-update link (dunning). Part of these customers can be recovered with no manual work.

Subscriber data lives in a spreadsheet, and the warehouse doesn't know what ships next.

We connect subscriptions to your CRM and fulfilment. Your team sees who ships when, and an AI agent can answer routine subscription questions.

How we work

01

Brief and requirements

You describe the task and current workflow. We clarify requirements, choose a first stage and prepare a quote.

02

Subscription model

Together we set products, frequency, discount and pause rules. We agree a KPI for the pilot, such as active subscribers in the first month.

03

Build and connect

We configure the platform, payments, portal, emails and integrations. You see a working version before we finish.

04

Test real scenarios

We run payment, card decline, pause, cancel and refund flows. We check that each order reaches fulfilment.

05

Launch and pilot

We open subscriptions to a part of your audience, read the numbers and fix weak spots. You pay in stages, and every account and file is yours under the agreed terms.

Scope and limits

  • We don't promise a number of subscribers or revenue. That depends on your product, price and traffic.
  • We don't work around payment provider limits. Stripe is only available to businesses in supported countries, and we will tell you early if another provider fits better.
  • We won't push subscriptions on a product nobody buys repeatedly. If the model doesn't fit, we'll say so before work starts.

FAQ

What are Recharge and Stripe Billing?

Recharge is a Shopify app that turns a store into a subscription store: recurring orders, a customer portal and schedule management. Stripe Billing is a payments tool that calculates subscriptions and charges on schedule. We pick one based on your platform, country and product.

Which one should I choose?

On Shopify, Recharge is usually the faster route. Stripe Billing fits custom stores, digital goods, or setups needing flexible pricing such as usage or tiers. We recommend one after the brief.

Do I need a new website?

Not necessarily. If your store runs on Shopify, WooCommerce or a similar platform, we add subscriptions to it. If your platform can't handle recurring payments, we'll propose a migration and quote it separately.

What do you need from me?

Your product list, prices, subscription rules (frequency, discounts, pause), and access to the store and payment account. You also need terms of service and a cancellation policy. We can draft them, but a lawyer's review stays with you.

What does it cost and how do I pay?

Payment terms are agreed with the quote before work starts. For a staged project, we describe the result and acceptance criteria for each stage. Support and third-party services are listed separately.

Who owns the accounts and customer data?

We agree on the handover of code, materials and account access before work starts. Third-party licences and services are listed separately when needed.
