Know what you are buying before you sign

We review the code, architecture, security and team behind a product before an investment or acquisition. You get a written report: what works, where the risks are, and what fixing them will cost.

Quote and schedule after your brief

Who it's for

  • Investors and angels putting money into a tech startup
  • Business owners buying a website, app or SaaS product
  • Founders preparing for a funding round who want to find weak spots first
  • Companies inheriting a product from a contractor or another team

Problems we solve

I saw a demo, but I don't know what's under the hood

We read the code and inspect the infrastructure. We show what truly works and what depends on manual work or temporary fixes.

I'm afraid we'll have to rewrite everything after the deal

We assess the architecture and technical debt (shortcuts that become expensive to fix later). You get a cost range and a sensible order of fixes.

The whole system depends on one or two people

We map who knows what, where documentation is missing, and what happens if a key person leaves. We outline a knowledge-transfer plan.

I'm not sure the data and accounts actually belong to the company

We check who owns domains, cloud accounts, repositories, licences and third-party services. We flag what must be transferred before closing.

How we work

01

Brief and requirements

You describe the task and current workflow. We clarify requirements, choose a first stage and prepare a quote.

02

Access to materials

You give read-only access to the code, documentation and infrastructure. We change nothing in your systems.

03

Review

Our team uses AI tooling to scan code, dependencies and configs quickly. Senior engineers then verify findings by hand.

04

Team interviews

We talk to developers and the product lead. We compare their answers with what we see in the code.

05

Report and call

You receive a written report with risks, cost estimates and a plan. We walk you through it on a call.

Scope and limits

  • We don't guarantee we will find every issue: an audit shows the state at the time of review
  • We don't give legal opinions or financial valuations of the company
  • We don't decide for you whether to invest: we give facts and a risk assessment

FAQ

What do I need to provide?

Read-only repository access, a system diagram if one exists, and contacts for key people. We also need access to cloud and monitoring dashboards. All of it can be given in restricted mode.

Is it safe to share code with you?

We sign an NDA before work starts. We ask for read-only access and do not copy code outside the agreed environment. We close all access when the audit ends.

How long does it take?

The schedule depends on scope, materials, access and external approvals. After your brief we agree on stages and acceptance criteria. For marketing outcomes, we also agree on how to measure progress: rankings, leads and sales depend on more than the work delivered.

Can you audit a product if the team doesn't know about it?

Only partly: we can review what we have access to. Without team interviews the audit is less accurate. It's best to inform the team in advance.

What will the report contain?

An executive summary, a risk register ranked by severity, a technical debt estimate and recommendations. The report and all audit materials belong to you.

Can you help fix the problems afterwards?

Yes, if you want. We can handle fixes and set up AI agents, a CRM or automation. It is a separate agreement with staged payment, and all accounts and files are yours under the agreed terms.
